── KR, you have been practicing Ho’oponopono cleaning since your youth, so surely, you must be much more advanced in cleaning than us, aren’t you?

You might think so, but Ho’oponopono isn’t about being better because you’ve done it more.
Anyone can start at any time, and the moment you begin is the best time for you. Some people learn it and don’t practice it for years, then start cleaning due to some trigger. But even if someone has been doing it for years, or just started, cleaning every moment is equally important.

── I understand that it’s good to do cleaning, but sometimes I forget, find it tedious, or am too busy.

Of course, I’m the same.
That’s why I use simple methods.
For example, just carrying a piece of paper with a cleaning tool written on it in my pocket, I’m cleaning. Even when I’m too tired to think about cleaning, just putting my hand in my pocket and touching the paper is enough.
Cleaning should be fun.

── Amazing! Is that all it takes? This way, you can always carry the tool with you.

Certainly.
For instance, if my back hurts, I put the paper with the tool on my back, or when I go to bed, I put it in my pillow. It’s simple. Your back can learn to clean itself too. There are countless such tips for cleaning.

── Do these tips and methods come from inspiration?

Yes, but it started with Morrnah.
Once, she attached a paper with the tool written on it to a tree in a friend’s garden, saying, “This tree was feeling bad, so I gave it the tool. Trees can learn to clean themselves too.”
So, if you move into a new house, you can leave a tool there so the house can clean itself. You can clip it to a book you’re reading to clean its content.

── It seems so easy to do cleaning now.

Yes. I keep tools in my bag, on my desk, on my computer, and even stuck to my bathroom key.
When I wake up and wash my face or brush my teeth, I see it and can clean just like that. We must give our conscious mind a break. We shouldn’t impose the constraint of ‘must keep doing something consciously’ on ourselves. Instead, free yourself from it. Discard the patterns and thoughts of ‘must do this.’ It’s not about reaching a cleaning goal by telling yourself ‘I must read this,’ or ‘I must remember this.’

── I see. So, it’s not about thinking and cleaning with your head, but stepping out of the framework of thought and cleaning naturally.

Exactly. When you’re tired, don’t want to do or think about anything, just touching it with your hand is enough. Be kind to yourself with these simple methods. The amazing thing about this cleaning is that you can do it even when you’re feeling angry.
Even if you’re holding onto anger, just use the cleaning tool without thinking, and it’s incredibly effective. Always. You can clean while experiencing anger.
You don’t need to be in a peaceful state of mind.
