To Those Seeking Change

Are you satisfied with where you are now, living each day with vigor and vitality? Or are you carrying dissatisfaction, feeling rushed to change your current situation? When we think that our lives need “change”, are we really prepared to make that change? And what kind of change will allow you to live authentically and vibrantly? I’ve been given the opportunity to discuss these questions, while exploring what it means to clean with ourselves for this change.

Wanting to change but feeling frightened at the prospect of actually making it happen is common. It’s like standing in complete darkness, about to leap off a cliff, unaware of what the change will bring, engulfed in fear. In such moments, I find myself complaining and judging like a child, trying to distract from this fear. However, the most important thing I can do then is to gently accept and clean with whatever experiences come with this change.

Thank you for showing me this fear.

When confronted with such fear, how kindly can we treat ourselves? Often, we fear silently enduring these emotions when they arise. By resisting and not accepting this fear, we miss the beauty, the precious moments that are actually present. By accepting and letting go of this fear, we can discover the true colors and beauty that are manifesting in our lives right now. That’s where change occurs.

When seeking change, we tend to look for opportunities outside – a new place to live, a partner, a job, or even a change in appearance. But in truth, change is an internal process. As we gently let go of rehashed memories, we are constantly changing. With each cleaning with the soul’s painted memories, we see changes in our own path. It is through finding change within that we can appropriately bring about external change.

By correctly learning and practicing how to handle inner change, we prepare ourselves to embrace and engage with the wonderful changes that come our way on the path laid out for us.
