Throughout my childhood, events involving my parents, relatives, and money caused me continuous suffering and pain, even into adulthood. It’s been over a year since I first attended a Ho’oponopono class, and I’ve been practicing cleaning every moment, yet I still found myself agonizing over the past.

Then, yesterday, I felt an impulse to say “I’m sorry” to my childhood self.

I wondered if simply repeating ‘I’m sorry,’ one of the cleaning tools of Ho’oponopono, could really bring purification. Nonetheless, I just kept repeating ‘I’m sorry.’

The result was a series of astonishingly profound feelings of relief.

As I go about my daily life, painful emotions about the past used to surface, making it really tough. But now, those feelings have faded away, and I continue to repeat ‘I’m sorry’ in a state of relaxation.

I send my respect and gratitude to everyone who continues with Ho’oponopono and cleaning.
