I first learned about Ho’oponopono nearly 10 years ago. I was struggling with mental illness and problems within my family, and everything seemed to be at a standstill in terms of work and finances. Although I often forgot to do the cleaning, I liked the worldview of Ho’oponopono, and I think it has gradually become a part of me.

Still, I was in a desperate mode, trying to make a living without any emotional space, and I couldn’t understand the voice of my inner self (Unihipili) at all. My heart felt numb, and I had been in a state where I couldn’t understand my own feelings for a long time.

Through classes, lectures, and books, I learned the importance and the way of caring for Unihipili. Until now, even though I felt strong pain and sadness inside, I didn’t know how to take care of myself or how to empathize with myself. And I inadvertently kept seeking love outside of myself. It was a gift to me to be able to tell my Unihipili ‘I love you’ and to know that love is within me.

Recently, I received KR absentee bodywork. A few days after I applied, I saw a very large rainbow in the sky one morning. ‘Wow, a big rainbow, that’s rareā€¦’ I thought as I hurried to work and then forgot about it. But later that day, I received an email saying the bodywork was completed, and the cleaning tool I received was related to ‘rainbows’. Feeling warm from such synchronicity, I continue to use the rainbow tool for cleaning. I still have many problems, but I try to remember that there is nothing outside.

KR, all the instructors, the Asia office, and everyone involved, thank you always for sharing Ho’oponopono with me.
