The Path That Reveals Itself Only When You Let Go of “For the Sake of”
How many of your daily actions are truly free from a specific purpose or goal?
Go to this place to do something.
Study here to achieve something.
Earn this much to accomplish something.
Get married and have children for the sake of something.
From the smallest habits to the biggest life decisions, we often carry so many purposes and expectations that it can feel overwhelming.
When was the last time you acted without any sense of “for the sake of”?
If you’ve attended one of my lectures or personal sessions, you might have heard this before:
I am convinced that life is not about reaching a destination—it is about the journey itself.
Even when studying to get into a university,
Even when undergoing surgery to recover from injury or illness,
the most important thing in those moments is to become aware of what I am experiencing right then and there, to clean with it, and to become truly free from memory.
In doing so, we find freedom even in the outcome itself, and inspiration begins to guide our lives.
If, in your search for meaning or purpose, you feel restricted, suffocated, or overwhelmed,
please remember—regardless of where you live, how old you are, or what your current situation may be—there is always something you can do from this very moment.
I look forward to seeing you at the next lecture!
Peace,
KR
