We spend most of our time seeing, hearing, feeling, saying, and thinking about memories.
Even if we believe, without a doubt, that these thoughts and ideas are real, they are worn-out ideas that have been repeatedly replayed from the past.
There is no expression of your true brilliance, cleverness, kindness, or love there.
As long as memories are being replayed, there is no room for inspiration to flow.

Do you ever compare yourself with others?

It seems that every day we compare ourselves to others in many ways, big and small: house size, marriage, children, income, age, and so on. We compare ourselves to others so often that we are dependent on the comparison itself.

We are either hurt by it or relieved by it, but in all of these moments, we are not living our true selves, according to Mahayana.

If you want to stop comparing and discover your true talents, she shares some simple steps you can take to start right away.

Mahayana I. Dugast, Ph.D. met SITH Ho’oponopono in 2008. She has three sons and one grandson. She says that her work, motherhood, and grandmotherhood are all in harmony with the blessings of being able to practice the “true self” that she learned at SITH. She attributes her ability to express herself in all three roles with a peaceful heart to the cleaning of each moment. To read the full interview with Mahayana I. Dugast, please click here.
