When my grandchild had been running a high fever for four days, my daughter finally took them to the doctor.

When I arrived, I saw my grandchild lying in my daughter’s arms, drenched in sweat.

I immediately began cleaning. My grandchild was diagnosed with influenza, received proper treatment, and was able to return home within a few hours.

When I clean, it is not because I want to achieve something or expect a particular outcome. However, I understand that it is easy to fall into that mindset.

At that moment, I cleaned the experience of witnessing my grandchild suffering from influenza. As a result, I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness.

It was truly happiness. Using the word “happiness” while my grandchild was suffering may seem contradictory, but that is merely the perspective of intellect. Through cleaning, I felt a profound peace.

When memories are erased, I am freed to be my true self. Throughout this experience, I often found myself wanting to say things to my daughter—suggesting what she should do or questioning why she wasn’t acting differently. This impulse stemmed from the part of me that believed I knew what was best.

However, acting on such thoughts would have interfered with my daughter’s inspiration and, ultimately, distanced my grandchild from their inherent connection to Divine healing.

Even when I don’t understand what is happening, recognizing my own experience—my thoughts, emotions, and sensations—is essential. In those moments, the only thing I can do is clean myself.

And the memories erased through cleaning are not only cleared from me but also from my daughter and my grandchild.

As a result, my daughter naturally takes the actions she needs to, and my grandchild returns to their natural state. And so do I.

Through practicing cleaning—choosing and using cleaning tools—my judgments and criticisms have decreased. Now, I simply clean and move forward.

Intellect constantly tries to pull us into discussions and interfere with our ability to choose what is truly right for us at the right time. However, even something as simple as going to the supermarket becomes an entirely different experience when approached with cleaning. The items I need naturally appear before me.

And this has nothing to do with whether or not they are organic.

When we are in alignment with the natural flow of life, the things we need come to us effortlessly, without relying on thought.

Everything comes down to restoring peace within myself.

That, I have come to realize, is the shortcut to everything.
