<What Our Inner Connection Brings to the Outside World>
My mother lives an hour and a half away by car. Every day, she calls to ask me questions about all sorts of things. She reaches out for help with little matters, things that might be broken, or things that don’t work. The fact that she contacts me so often is proof that she’s healthy, and I’m glad for that. But, to be honest with myself, I have to admit that I can’t always answer her calls with unreserved joy.
Whenever I realize it’s her calling, I find myself thinking, “Again?” For me, starting with a practice of cleaning before picking up her call is more important than answering quickly. It’s the best thing I can do in that moment.
While I can’t claim this will eliminate all problems, as long as I have balance within, as long as I’m okay, my mother will be okay too. The connection within me is what matters most. When I experience peace within, my mother can also regain her peace.
Regardless of what your trusted friends, social media, or advertisements might say, a sense of fulfilled happiness or integrated security cannot truly be achieved until your inner “I” – your true self – is established. When you have this inner connection, you are connected to the outer world too, perfectly and in the ways you genuinely need.
Through cleaning, we can always reclaim this inner connection.
So, let’s start together.
Peace,
