You can’t seem to feel happiness.
You’re not satisfied with your life.
All that remains are regrets.
It seems that the overflowing memories in this vessel called “now,” which should be fresh and empty, are showing you the life you’re “supposed” to have, and the person you’re “supposed” to be.
In reality, there is nothing that should determine whether your life is good or bad. At this very moment, we are continuously receiving inspiration. Now is only now. It is we who keep the past alive. At this very moment, we are given the opportunity to live our true selves. If that’s the case, then there is always a moment to let go of that dissatisfaction and anxiety with no outlet.
A woman I know was very troubled by money. She was depressed, despairing over her future. However, she decided to return to the point where she admitted she didn’t really know what was happening, and chose to simply stay close to her inner self. She took a piece of clothing out of her closet and wore it. In the next moment, she suddenly decided to visit a bar she had gone to in the past. Of course, she was struggling with money, so until then, she had been focused solely on saving every penny. But the fresh feeling that came from wearing her favorite clothes didn’t come from her thoughts—it just moved her.
With only enough money for one drink, she went to that bar and met a man. He turned out to be the perfect man for her, and they are still happily living together. He supports her, and she is doing the work she loves. This seemed to be her rhythm.
I am by no means saying that if you’re in trouble, you should dress up, go to a bar, and meet your destined partner who will help you. But if you truly take care of yourself, take responsibility for what is happening, and reflect inwardly, the rhythm will return.
And sometimes, when seen from the consious mind, this rhythm can result in something that looks like a scene straight out of a movie. Even if it doesn’t appear that way, when you live in rhythm, your true life in the present moment will no longer be forced into the molds of the past, making you feel constrained. And you will surely be able to smoothly align yourself with the rhythm given to you right in front of your eyes.
Peace,
