what already lives within you.
What is Ho’oponopono?
Ho’oponopono is a problem-solving wisdom handed down from ancient Hawaii. It means “to put things back in their right place,” a simple practice for receiving each thing we meet each day as a replay of the “memories” stored within us, and quietly letting them go.
The modern “SITH Ho’oponopono (Self I-Dentity through Ho’oponopono)” is the ancient Hawaiian ritual of Ho’oponopono, shaped by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona into a form each person can practice alone. It was then carried on by Dr. Hew Len, and today by KR (Kamaile Rafaelovich), and is shared around the world.

Frequently Asked Questions
A simple collection of the questions we most often receive from those newly meeting Ho’oponopono, with their answers.
Those Who Carry This Teaching Forward
Ho’oponopono is not a “method” someone invented. It is a form of problem-solving handed down from ancient Hawaii, which one woman shaped so that we today can practice it in daily life, and which has been passed from one person to the next for fifty years.
Here we introduce the three people who have been part of that handing-on.
Morrnah
Born a native Hawaiian, Morrnah was recognized for her special gifts from childhood and raised as a Kahuna Lapa’au (a spiritual leader of traditional healing). It was Morrnah who shaped Ho’oponopono — once performed in ancient Hawaii as a group ritual — into a form each person living today can practice anytime, anywhere, without anyone’s help.
In 1983, the State of Hawaii honored Morrnah as a “Living Treasure of Hawaii.” Until her passing in 1992, her work was handed directly to people around the world.
Dr. Hew Len
A clinical psychologist, Dr. Hew Len studied under Morrnah for many years and walked alongside her. His work at a Hawaii state hospital — healing all the patients of a ward for the criminally insane without ever interviewing a single one directly — is known around the world. It was called a “miracle,” but the doctor himself said he simply kept cleaning the memories within himself.
After Morrnah passed, the doctor traveled the world, continuing to share this practice. “Keep cleaning” — those words still live in the daily lives of many people today.
KR
Born and raised in Hawaii, Kamaile Rafaelovich (KR) studied for many years under Morrnah and Dr. Hew Len, and has lived this practice together with them. Today, at the heart of SITH Ho’oponopono (Self I-Dentity through Ho’oponopono), she hands this practice directly to students around the world.
Through lectures, Strawberry Jam, and consultations, KR bridges this way of being to the next generation.
The First Cleaning
Add nothing, take nothing away. No special place, no special preparation needed. From right where you stand, simply whisper “thank you.” With that alone, cleaning begins.
When you feel ready to go further.
